Certificate replacement
If you have lost your certificate(s), please advise Imperial's transfer agent, Computershare Trust Company of Canada (“Computershare”), through the self-service online portal at www.investorcentre.com/imperial or by calling their National Customer Contact Center 1-877-296-3716 (514-982-7685 local). A customer service representative will place a preventative stop on the missing certificates and mail the required documentation for replacement.
Alternatively, you may complete and send the “Account Update / Inquiry” form available in their Printable Forms section. Please indicate the following information in the “other” section of the form:
- the name and type of securities you own
- certificate number(s) (if known)
- the reason for the loss (i.e. lost, stolen, destroyed, or never received)
Upon receipt of your notification, the records will be updated within 24 hours with a “stop transfer notation” for each certificate number provided.
