Imperial and COVID-19
As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, Imperial is taking proactive and preventative measures to protect the health and safety of our workforce and do our part to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus in the community.
We are monitoring the situation closely and have implemented comprehensive plans across our operations.
Imperial has well-established business continuity plans in place to manage impacts related to infectious disease outbreaks. These include implementing appropriate travel and self-quarantine restrictions. We have also asked employees who have the ability to work from home to do so as a precaution. We have been carefully tracking our workforce. We will continue to follow guidance from government authorities and to advise our employees to follow government recommendations.
Imperial also remains focused on continuing to reliably supply Canadians with the fuel they need. We are closely monitoring supply chains to our facilities and the delivery of our products to customers and are prepared to react. We will continue to keep you updated.
There continues to be an extraordinary level of co-operation and communication among our employees, contractors, service providers, and customers. Imperial appreciates everyone’s commitment and patience with these efforts during this unusual and challenging time.
Please take care of yourself and your family.
